Think Green When You Spring Clean!
If the words “spring cleaning” strike terror in your heart, relax and take a deep breath.
Now, what to use to clean? You know I’m not a fan of harsh chemicals, in cleaning products just as much as skin care products. I like to use products that have the seal of approval from green organizations, like EWG. EWG, the Environmental Working Group, is an organization dedicated to protecting human health and the environment. You can review cleaning products and their ratings on its website.
There’s also plenty you can do with natural kitchen staples like vinegar, baking soda and lemons. Check out these natural, cleaning recipes for a green home at Modern Castle.
Add a Spray Bottle and some eco-friendly cloths and you’re ready to go.
Take it one task at a time and you’re on your way. See, that’s not so bad! Nothing feels and smells as good as clean!
