Looking for a new green smoothie to try? My go-to recipe is bright, refreshing with a little bite from fresh ginger.
I love a green drink as a healthy quick snack throughout the day. For breakfast or lunch on the go, I add a half of an avocado for an extra boost. My personal favorite leafy greens are parsley because it gives the smoothie that extra brightness, but you can use any combination of kale, spinach or parsley. I use frozen pineapple so that it’s a cool drink straight out of my Vitamix, plus it makes prep much easier. Persian cucumbers are also a personal favorite. So instead of a half a cucumber, I will add a couple Persian cucumbers instead.
