Kari's Guide To Clean Living

October 22, 2020

When I was asked to create this clean living list, I didn’t think of things that I thought would make me look like a saint, rather, what I really do and use on a regular basis that makes my life just a little bit easier. These days, every little bit of sanity adds up.  It’s been quite a year.

Simplified Routine

Essential Tinted SPF

Sunscreen everyday, rain or shine is my motto. Our new Tinted SPF brightens and leaves a dewy, radiant finish.

Essential Hydrating Tonic – Rose

My daily pick-me up. I’m a Rose girl and never go without this glycerin-packed spritz that locks in moisture. I keep one on my desk for an afternoon hydration pick-me-up.

Lip Whip

I’m a Lip Whip fanatic. I can’t think of a time when I’m not wearing it. It’s long lasting and super hydrating. Radiant has always been my absolute favorite and wears well under a mask, given it’s just got a touch of pigment.

Grove

I order products both for my house and the office. The subscription service is easy, and their products and philosophy match ours, clean ingredients and sustainability focused.

Other Favorites

Over & Over Masks

These are made of repurposed vintage kimonos and are my go-to mask. I have found that silk masks are the easiest on my skin and of all the ones I’ve tried, these are the winner.

Theo Chocolates

Theo Chocolates is organic and fair trade (and local to Seattle). Ideally, I lean toward a nice high percentage of dark chocolate, I’m an 80% girl.

Mezcal

I do love Mezcal on the rocks and adore Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal. It's 100% certified organic, artisanal and produced in the original handcrafted way. It's delicious.

Binto’s Glow Down

Every night, it’s a calming magnesium drink. I dare say I’m a hoarder when it comes to this product and always order multiples.

Magnesium Flakes

I’m a big fan of baths and I love using Magnesium Flakes for a relaxing soak. They aren’t fancy, but they completely do the job. If I want fancy, I’ll add a few pumps of the Body and Bath Oil and then close my eyes and pretend I’ve been whisked away to a spa.

At the end of the day, clean living shouldn’t be complicated or cost prohibitive.  The items I’ve listed above all fall into the “inspired and not overwhelmed” category .
