Seems like just yesterday (but it was a month ago!), I was living dream and co-mingling with brands in the green beauty world that I’ve long admired as well as a few brands that were new to me. Today, I am obsessing over a few of my favorite finds and thought I would share them with you.

So if you couldn’t make it to the Chicago event, here are some of our must-have products from our A Night For Green Beauty haul.

Not only is Josh the epitome of cool and kind all wrapped into one, he has an amazing line of products. He hand selected Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner for my parched strands. I also picked up his Lift Hair Texture & Volume spray that I had been dying to try. All three smell incredibly amazing, which is top of mind for me. As a formulator, I have a super-sensitive sniffer and anything that lingers or smells off to me is a no-go. No matter how much I love how the product performs, smell is king. So I was delighted that not only does my hair smell divine, it feels really soft and is noticeably nourished. Thanks Josh!

As long as I’m on the topic of my dry hair, let me tell you how lovely the Kumari Luxury Oil Treatment for Hair is. It’s fabulous and the smell is so delicate and luxurious. I love all things with an Ayurvedic theme, but the smell can kill it for me sometimes. But not this one! Please watch the short how-to video, which stresses not to oversaturate the hair like I did having not seen the video. I met the founder of Kumari Luxury, Aarti Gala and she too was lovely. I cannot wait to get my hands on the body and bath oils next. Kudos, Aarti.

Natural deodorants are not my favorite things to try. Once again, the smell of the product is usually not what I’m hoping for – until now! Horray for Morrocan Rose Absolute, it’s sublime. How often can you say that about a natural deodorant? We were situated at the table right next to Stacey Davis, the creator herself, and she made the night even better with her sharp wit and humor. The Lavender Tea Tree scent was also a favorite, but I’m a sucker for all things rose. Natural deodorants with baking soda have a history of irritating my skin, but the 100% Natural Cream Deodorant did not. Plus it stood the test of a long production day!

I was new to Graydon’s line, but found her to be so incredibly genuine and warm that I had find out more. ANFGB makeup artist Sheri Stroh – who’s work is sooo good – insisted that I try Graydon’s Face Glow. According to Sheri, it provides SPF and doubles as a great primer for makeup. The feel is light as air and really is a great way to get your daily SPF. The mica adds a very subtle sparkle – not disco ball sparkle, but a healthy glow sparkle as the name suggests. And, I’ve never met a sparkle that I didn’t love.

A Night for Green Beauty may have come and gone, but at least we have our memories, new friends and a great haul of green beauty products to remember it by! Do you have any new green beauty product favorites?
